We're Featured in Tierra Vierde Living Magazine

July 26, 2017

Tierra Vierde Living magazine has featured Psalm139LOVE and Haitian Hope in their recent magazine!  A few months ago, Amanda's mother was in need of an attorney and contacted, Jeanetter Secor, attorney and resident of Tierra Vierde, Florida.  After hearing about Amanda's mission in Haiti, Mrs Secor was moved with compassion to help. She so generously donated funds to build a well-house(covering) for the ONLY fresh water well in a village of 1500+ people.  We are so thankful for compassionate people

If retiring in St. Petersburg, Florida is on your horizon or the thought of luxury waterfront living appeals to you, definitely do not miss Tierra Verde.

LOVE-A-CHILD Blesses Haitian Hope & Psalm139LOVE

October 4, 2017

BIG BLESSING FOR Jocelyn " Diggy" Azeme

with Haitian Hope and for Psalm 139 love!

I've been currently working with Rad Hazelip from LOVE-A-CHILD ministry.

LOVE-A-CHILD, directed by Bobby and Sherry Burnette, has been a tremendous ministry in Haiti for approximately 40 years.  Rad has developed a 3 week intensive agricultural course at their compound in Fond Parisienne , Haiti, which costs $725 and includes room and board. Jocelyn "Diggy" Azeme

has been selected (blessed) for a scholarship to this important training.

Diggy is a college student studying agriculture. Extensive hands-on-training like this is invaluable to his training in this field. With Love-A-Child's scholarship, we are able to send Diggy to this training.  Praise The Lord and Thank You, Love-A-Child.

2018 BOHOC MISSION TRIP RECAP

Feb 27 - Mar 5, 2018

READ OUR DAILY JOURNAL (CLICK HERE)

It is with great pleasure I can tell you that we had a most successful mission trip to Haiti with over 60 more souls coming into the kingdom of God. This is ALWAYS our focus and the core of the ministry. Here is a recap of the mission!

1. Shade house was built our garden GRAS LI ( His grace ) in Monac

2. We held 3 vacation Bible Schools ( Cindy, Yvonne and Sandy)

3. Taught English class ( Gail Bain )

4. Visited the community garden we started in Pignon

5. Started a new 5 family portable irrigation garden system in

La Victoire

6. Built chicken nesting boxes and gifted the Pastor with $100 worth of chickens to start a new farm .

7. Gave away goats

8. Went on prayer walks

9. Blessed many children and women with dresses, tote bags

and feminine hygiene kits

10. Gave out food baskets to needy families.

11. Held a widows luncheon that fed approximately

80 widows /widowers

12. We hosted a Haitian Hope Appreciation Party for the men we work with and their parents, Great Times!

13. I celebrated my “ daughter's “ 16th birthday with party including cake and dancing. I met this special young girl when she was 8 yrs old. God has blessed me with a

special relationship with her so much so she calls me Mom.

We had an amazing team of Ron Lusk and Ben Fry who were referred by Rad from Love-a-Child. They blessed us with the shade house from their charity "Sustainable Food Production." They taught a class in chicken nesting boxes.

Gail ,Cindy, Yvonne and Sandy joined us from Texas and finishing up the team was my right-hand and Assnt Team Leader, Angela Priest. Angie has been with me on trips since 2008. She is always pitching in to help where needed.

I met Valentin Abe at a seminar at Echo in Ft Myers about four months ago to hear him talk about raising Tilapia fish. Valentin was voted one of the most 100 influential people of Time Magazine 2010 and is a graduate from Auburn University.

It was a divine appointment as we have been in contact since then! While our team was in Haiti, Abe drove 4 hours to visit the area Psalm139LOVE And Haitian Hope were working in. He gave us some amazing ideas! We are working on projects behind the scenes that hopefully soon I’ll be able to announce. I just need a few things finalized. Trust me it’ll be HUGE and will take the Ministry to a whole different level. Glory to God!

As we continue to grow, please be in prayer that we can branch out and get support from churches, businesses and organizations. Everything that has been done so far has been through Facebook and word of mouth. I’m believing that God will open those doors soon!

I ask that you share our ministry with others and if you know of a group that would be interested in knowing what we do, please pass my name along.

We are looking for new monthly partners so we can budget and hire more Haitians to work on our projects. Praise God we have six Godly Haitians on salary right now which I’m very pleased with. Unemployment is about 90% where I work so I’m very happy to be able to pay employees a salary as they work very hard. Without them, all we do would be impossible.

Temporary Mission Itinerary and

Need Funds for Shipping Cost

JUNE 13, 2017

Bon Jour everyone!!!

Just wanted to touch base and let you all know we have some very exciting projects planned for our upcoming mission trip..

1. We will be visiting a new village called Jancoco. Paster Ezekiel has a son Diranot that was my translator on a trip. I adored him! This will be great! Evangelism is number one! We will also be working on several projects.

We've had a donation pledged of not just one but two portable irrigation pumps plus hose and the intake hose from the river that is needed!! Hope Seeds will be supplying all the seeds and we will start a garden Jancoco and one in Monac! I'll post a video of the portable irrigation pump gardening so you can grasp what a blessing this will be!!

2. Monac - this is where it all started for me to start the charity. These are precious people I love! We will be starting a huge garden there, painting the cooking center, and Vacation Bible School for the children.

3. Cayhonde - they are not near the river so portable irrigation pump gardens won't work for them. However, Chapin Living Waters has donated 200 drip irrigation kits!! Again Hope Seeds will supply the seeds. We plan on having Wilner from Love A Child come and teach a seminar and each family can take a kit plus a family pack of seeds home to build their own personal garden.

4. Widow's luncheon - Wilfred " frido" Cadet has a group of 28 widows that he looks after. We will be holding a luncheon for them and providing presents..lightweight gifts like scarves , jewelry for the women and hats and ties for the men.

5. Market Monday!! Downtown Bohoc market is so much fun and where you can really see what it's like to shop. Plus any donations that we have to bless families with goats will be bought on this day, I have a church friend who is a pastor who is going to be raising funds to provide this gift.

Goats are $40 each. STORE (You can do so in our online store)

6. I'll try to get Nelson, a former voodoo witch doctor, to come give his testimony. It's mind blowing! He and his family are what I consider my friends..a true Saul to Paul testimony!!

7. We will also have a night with Fabius and his fabulous men's choir!

YOU WILL LOVE THIS!! It's a highlight of every trip I've been on.

We will go to church in Wednesday and Sunday. You'll meet so many wonderful people ...you probably won't want to leave on Thursday!!!

8. I have over 120 reading eyeglasses donated by Watchman's Broadcasting WBPI...Dorothy Spaulding when I was on her show Club 36. We will hold a vision clinic.

9. We will also have beautiful handmade dresses to give away from the Domino Promise Sewing club as well as some boys shorts.

All this being said, we have donations to start amazing projects but it comes at a price.. it costs me $1.50 a pound to ship everything into Haiti.

We get 50 pounds per person and I limit that to 25 pounds each (that's truly plenty ) so 25 pounds goes towards freight.

However this is a massive undertaking with the pumps weighing 91 pounds each and each hose at least 100 pounds each..the drip irrigation kits are 2.5 pounds eachwhich is 500 pounds ..

The $1200 cost covers our room and board, flight from Ft pierce , and transportation ..( it's very expensive to rent a truck there.)

So if any of you want to help raise funds for these projects I will welcome that. If you have any friends who want to give to this specifically or buy a goat at $40 or provide a tin roof for $150 these are extra projects we can incorporate:) Online...  DONATE   STORE

Chapin Living Waters Drip Irrigation Systems

May 2017 Newsletter

featuring Psalm139LOVE

JUNE 13, 2017

Haitians in the cities of Monac and Bohoc are rejoicing and grateful for the opportunity to receive and own drip irrigation gardens. Through the ministry of Psalm139LOVE and a partnership with Chapin Living Waters and Hope Seeds, 55 families and 30 widows will now be able to grow and harvest vegetables from their own gardens year round.

Lack of rainfall is a major problem for farmers in Haiti and because of this, they usually only produce two crops per year but with the bucket kits and seeds they will be able to produce crops year round.

Psalm139LOVE was founded by Amanda Pecott, a woman who has visited Haiti on missionary trips since 2008. She fell in love with the country's people and her passion for making a difference in the world grew even stronger.

In the years that followed Amanda formed Psalm139LOVE, a nonprofit charity that provides the Haitian people with the tools to empower themselves and provide clean drinking water. The charity provides fresh water wells, water filtration, personal gardens, cooking centers, scholarships and so much more in Haiti. She also works with Wilnot Mercier of Haitian Hope and Wilfred Cadet of Widows Ministry of Bohoc.
